refund policy

 

All of the televisions we sell are covered by a ‘1 Year Parts & Labour Back-to-Base Guarantee’ (unless otherwise stated on the advert). Please keep the invoice you are given at the time of collection as your proof of purchase and guarantee.

 

 

In the unlikely event of a fault please contact us via email (see the contact us page) or by telephone with details of your purchase including your name, invoice number and model number of the TV. Our engineers may initially call you to see if the problem can be resolved over the phone. If this is not possible, then the television will need to be taken to any Electronic World depot for a repair/ exchange. Within 30 days of purchase you are entitled to an exchange. After 30 days from time of purchase, Electronic World will repair the product.

 

Once you have taken the TV for repair to an Electronic World depot, we will arrange to repair and return the product free of charge to the depot of your choice. This is usually done within a week. If we cannot repair the television we will endeavour to exchange the television for an exact replacement or the nearest replacement in terms of specification. Please note all exchanges must be undertaken at the collection depot. 

The exchange/repair does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse on your part (for which there can be no refund or exchange). Please check the plug, batteries, fuse and the manufacturer’s operating instructions before contacting us. We advise you to retain all original packaging in case of a return, replacement or repair.

We want you to be satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are unhappy, an order can be cancelled in writing within 7 days of delivery. If the product was supplied boxed at the time of collection you should return it boxed and with any other packaging, unused and in original condition with any accessories and any supplied free gifts. You must return the item to any Electronic World depot. A refund will then be made upon inspection of the TV.
