Within four days of being released, 6.7 million copies had been sold in North American along, with over 2 million of these being Blu-Ray. There’s no doubt that this old technology is now obsolete and you won’t be seeing any more CRT sets being produced in the years to come. However, you might not be inclined to simply throw away that old TV set that has given you many years of service. There is now no analogue signal in Wales and the rest of the UK is following over the next year or two, so many people will be looking at replacing there television altogether rather than just getting a set top box or subscribing to Sky or Virgin.
