The Toshiba 19DV555 is a state of the art LCD television with a 19 inch screen measured corner to corner, giving a 48cm visible screen size. The Toshiba 19DV555 measures 355 x 427 x 80mm (HxWxD) without a stand, making it compact and convenient, giving excellent performance without taking up lots of room. The LCD screen of the 19DV555 allows it run very efficiently, using a mere 53 watts when switched on, and 0.9 watts when on standby mode, making it perfect for those concerned about the environment. The Toshiba 19DV555DB features an integrated signal amplifier and 99 programmable channels, as well as a digital tuner that allows for reception of all available freeview channels without the need for a contract.
The Toshiba 19DV555 conveniently includes an integrated DVD player enabling the user to save space efficiently, and is fitted with an HDMI connection to carry digital video and audio signals from other devices including DVD recorders, home cinema systems or personal computers. The excellent performance is enhanced by Nicam stereo sound and digital noise reduction, and a coaxial digital connection. The Toshiba 19DV555 is HD ready, and as such is able to receive high definition signal from cable or satellite with the addition of a separate HD receiver.
